My first experiences with psychedelics occurred 40 years ago. With prohibition I put them away until five years ago. I have had my most profound experiences on psychedelics. I was a consultant and coach when I turned to psychotherapy. I studied at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and have been practicing for the past 15 years. I developed my practice around working with people with mood disorders and highly creative people. I help my clients integrate their disowned parts and their thoughts into a gestalt.
How I work with clients
I adapt my style to what works for my clients. My approach is highly variable depending on who I’m working with. Having a background in coaching, I am very clear about what the work is and stick to a course of action, unless of course something comes up for the client that was outside of their awareness. Even then, we make a decision together to explore this new territory. I may be considered unconventional by some.
